Tom Anderson

I was born in Ontario, OR and grew up in Fruitland, ID.

I began working at the Ontario Safeway Store in 1970 and ended up managing the Weiser Safeway Store in 1986.  I was part owner and manager of Weiser IGA (previously Safeway/Farmer Jack) until being bought by Ridley’s in 199.

While living in Fruitland I was elected to the City Council , was assistant Fire Chief and Training Officer for the Fruitland Fire Department, and was a Certified EMT working part time for United Ambulance.

While in Weiser I have served on the City Council, been involved with doctor recruitment, currently serving on the Board of Directors of Washington County Crime Stoppers, and appointed to serve on Weiser’s Planning and Zoning Commission.

I have begun my fourth year of employment for the City of Weiser taking care of the Vendome Events Center.
