We have successfully completed our annual certification review testing for 2020.
The Weiser Wastewater Treatment Center is required by the EPA to complete certification by an independent testing firm on an annual basis. Samples are provided by the third-party certification company that have unknown (to us) values. We perform the following tests and submit the results to the company:
- Totals suspended solids (TSS)
- Total chlorine residual (Cl2)
- pH analysis
- Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD)
- E-coli
- Total phosphorous
Our results are then compared to the results obtained by the third-party laboratory and certification is issued for our wastewater laboratory to remain in compliance with the NPDES Permit issued by EPA.
