Katie von Brethorst is currently serving her first term on city council for the City of Weiser. Born and raised in Weiser, Katie attended Boise State University and graduated with a degree in English. She taught at Weiser School District for 5 years. Katie also has 20+ years in the banking industry and is currently employed as the Branch Manager of Zions Bank in Weiser. She is an active member in the community volunteering in a variety of activities. Katie and her husband Bowe have two sons, Brody and Kooper.
