Electric Department

The City of Weiser Electric Department has been providing reliable power to the residents of Weiser for more than 100 years.


The City of Weiser buys it’s power from Bonneville Power Administration and takes delivery through the Idaho Power substation located southwest of town.


The Electric Line Crew consists of two journeyman and two apprentice linemen who are responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of the 25 miles of overhead line and 5 miles of underground line in Weiser.
