Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Weiser Library is a non-profit, volunteer group that actively works to raise funds and support the Weiser Public Library.

Friends help financially to add to the book and media collection regularly, support the summer reading program, fund extra programs, and provide books and funds for youth book clubs and activities. Such as:

• Elementary Book Club
• High School Book Club
• Book club for Adults
• STEM Program
• Makers Station
• Dungeons and Dragons Clubs
• Donations to school libraries
• Community Education
• Author Nights
• Lecture Series
• Let’s Talk about it books
• Story time
• Museum on the GO!
• Purchases books for the library

The Friends meet every first Wednesday of the month at 10 am in the library conference room.

The Friends of the Weiser Public Library offer many opportunities for volunteering. Get to know new people who share your interest in books and in the library. We are a welcoming group and always look forward to new Friend volunteers! If you are interested contact the Friends of the Library. Annual membership is $12. Pick up an application at the library.
