Herb Haun

Herb was elected to the Weiser City Council in November 2023, serving his first term as Council Chairman.

Herb is the fourth generation born in Idaho, and second generation born in Weiser. 

Herb is married to Kelly Syme, Haun. They have two children, Elizabeth Heftie , and Robert Haun. 

He retired from the Onion industry after forty-six years, and 35 years farming with his brother Fred. 

He's still learning how to farm and produce seed crops with the help of younger farmers.

They also enjoy going to visit their six grandchildren and watching them participate in sports. 

Herb can be found referring basketball at times.
