Spring sports time! Whoops, slight problem, winter decided to make itself known again. I saw lots of folks with new snow blowers and shovels out Saturday putting them to use. The weathermen are predicting snow off and on throughout the week so be careful and be prepared.

Work is progressing on the new restroom planned at the soccer fields on E. Park Street. It is the plan to have them in place along with drinking fountains by the beginning of the soccer season. The newest restroom in Memorial Park has been opened for use during the day for the convenience of the public. It is the only restroom with heat to avoid freezing. As the weather warms, the other restrooms will be opened. The restrooms are all locked during the nighttime hours.
First Thursday events will return this Thursday, March 1 in downtown Weiser. The event is being sponsored by the Weiser Area Chamber of Commerce. Come meet new and old business owners and enjoy the networking from 5-7 pm.
